Let the clients speak....

I stayed at your hotel last weekend, 4/4-4/6, 2014, for the Hollywood Half/10K run. I found your hotel on-line and read the reviews but was a bit apprehensive. I didn’t knowing what I’d find when I arrived after a five-six hour car drive down.

All I can say is thank you!!

We arrived early, around 9:45am, and planned to park in the garage because we knew we’d be too early for check-in. Not a problem! Our room was ready AND we were upgraded. It gets better; service was awesome, location was the best (close to everything including the race starting line) and the room was perfect. We were greeted and treated with kindness by every staff member we encountered. The courtesy breakfast, we’ll we thought there’d be coffee and packaged pastries, was a treat. We not only had a nice meal but were treated like royalty by the wonderful lady (sorry, I forgot her name) working the area on Sunday.

We’re planning another trip down to Hollywood next spring and will definitely book our room with your hotel. We will recommend you to everyone and anyone who asks for a hotel in the Hollywood area.

Thank you again for the gracious hospitality.

Warm regards,

Linda

A great choice

"Very grateful to TA reviewers for pointing us in the direction of this hotel. It was perfect for our family of 4. Spacious, clean and well equipped rooms. Friendly staff, especially Patricia in the breakfast room. First time I've ever hugged a hotel staff member! No need for a car as public transport is nearby and probably quicker then driving. We used trains and buses to get to Exposition Park, Universal Studios, Santa Monica, Downtown, The Grove and Farmer's Market all with no trouble. Groceries a 5 minute walk west down Hollywood Blvd so we could prepare our own lunch and dinner, saving $$ and hassle. Breakfast was fine for us: oatmeal, croissants, bagels, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, tea, coffee, hot choc, juice. Our boys loved the pool which was heated and a few pool toys provided. All the excitement of Hollywood only steps away, yet the hotel is in a quiet, safe location. Perfect!" Reprinted from Trip Advisor, January, 2014

“Small hotel with a 5-star service”

This hotel is serious about its service. Guest feels welcome. The room is equipped with almost all things you need when away from home. Complimentary breakfast is meticulously prepared. Free wifi is as promised and strong signal. We were in the last room but there was a 3-antenna router at the end of the building. Staff is friendly and helpful.... – JuniorB_Kl, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Jan. 2014

“Best hotel staff and location hands down.”

There is nothing but great things to say about my stay here. The staff were the best, So helpful, friendly and they just went above and beyond what they needed too. The hotel location was perfect. Walking distance to almost everything. The hotel room was very clean. Diana7574, Jan. 2014

“Fantastic stay at Hollywood Orchid Suites”

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 18 and 16. We had the deluxe 2 king suite. The hotel is older style but is very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The room was serviced every day. The breakfast was all we needed each morning and consisted of cereal, fruit, juices, yoghurt, croissants, bagels, muffins, coffee… 750lucy, Sydney, Australia, Jan. 2014

“We loved it!”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hollywood Orchid Suites and didn't want to leave. We felt really at home there. The location was amazing - right in the middle of Hollywood. The room was spacious and comfy. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. We miss the Orchid Suites and will be back. Andrew V, Melbourne, Australia, Jan. 2014

“Hidden Gem”

We at the Hollywood Orchid Suites in April 2013. What a hidden gem. Close to everything, just walk through the mall to get to the walk of fame, the Grauman theatre, Disney soda shop, and every tour imaginable. Every hotel employee was great and helpful and the breakfast in good and fulfilling. would recommend this hotel to anyone! – Pittsburgh Travellers

Let's not tell anyone...

On my second night in Hollywood I managed to get a deluxe king room at the Orchid Suites for 3 nights.

What a great place. This hotel was originally a block of apartments, converted in the late 90s. It is still more along the lines of serviced apartments, so don't expect room service or restaurants. There is no need for either, as the back entrance of the Hollywood and Highland Center is a few well lit steps away, offering a dining variety very few hotels in the world could hope to provide.

The staff at this establishment always greeted me with a smile. When I needed help with something it was instantly provided, and as a solo traveler in his late fifties this was important. The hotel is very secure, with free underground parking, a huge advantage in LA.

I liked this place so much that I have already booked and paid to stay another 3 nights on the way back to Australia. This could become my secret US base. Reprinted from TripAdvisor, September 4, 2012

“EVERYTHING'S PERFECT

Everything is in place when you stay at Hollywood Orchid Suites. A very very good location - you'd just have to walk a few seconds and there's the Walk of Fame, Dolby Theater (used to be 'Kodak Theater') and the Grauman's Chinese Theater. The Walk of Fame is also the start of all the Hollywood tours, such as the double decker open air bus, the movie stars homes tours and many more! It's so convenient. It's also right beside the Hollywood and Highland Mall. The hotel has good security. The front door is always locked. And right outside the hotel, there's a security guard and a CCTV. It's so safe to walk out at night. There's a Metro one minute away from the hotel that takes you to Universal City, downtown LA, and many more places. There's a car rental shop right in front of the walk of fame. Taxis lining up outside. Buses stop there. Everyone in the hotel is friendly. There's a dining room, kitchen and a bath tub in the room. They give you free-use of cups, glasses, hair dryer, etc. On the top floor, there's a roof top garden where you can bring your breakfast up or eat by the pool or at the 2nd floor. The breakfast place is a bit small but it's okay cuz you can bring it someplace else. The breakfast is good, they serve muffins, fruits, coffee, hot chocolate, croissants, apple sauce and bagels. We stayed there for 2 weeks!! Absolutely amazing. I recommend this hotel for everyone.  Reprinted from Trip Advisor, August 31, 2012
